Matakana Pony Club runs an Adult Ride all year round at our grounds in Diamond Jubilee Park, Matakana Valley Road or in a nearby arena while the grounds are too wet.

9 - 10 am every Wednesday (subject to weather)

The group is a fun and informal bunch, loving our group lessons, casual beach/forest rides and weekend camp which you can mix and match to fit in with your riding routine.

We have a fabulous regular coach, Kim Beazley, who skillfully accommodates our varying levels of horse and rider - always a smile on her face (and ours!).

​

We also have guest instructors​ that run regular clinics of various disciplines on other dates - look out for Sue Pennington's Pole Clinics, Show Jumping with Jo Bullock, Equitation with Toni Atkins and our Have a go Dressage and Show Jumping days.

Nag n'Wag Treks are free to full adult members unless at a hosted venue. You are welcome to bring friends or new happy hackers join us  - please join Matakana PC as a 'Friend/Financial' Member for the year ($20) and then $20 a ride or the hosted venue charge.

Become a member for $165 per year and each lesson is $20 at our grounds (add a $10 arena fee if elsewhere).
